The BaByliss PRO TT Tourmaline BABTT2653 is a mid-grade straightening iron designed for use by professionals in a commercial hair styling environment. The BaByliss PRO TT Tourmaline series of products includes the same basic body design and encompasses a wide range of hair styling tools including the BABTT2653 straightening iron.

The BABTT2653 model straightening iron is manufactured with tourmaline titanium material heating plates combined with a ceramic heater which BaByliss claims "emit natural ions to keep hair shiny and eliminate frizz while sealing up the hair cuticle." The heating plate size of the BABTT2653 device is 1/2" putting the overall device size close to that of a mini straightening iron, making it ideal for travel and purse applications.

The BaByliss PRO TT Tourmaline BABTT2653 includes additional features such as 40 varying heat settings for custom styling with a maximum temperature of 465 degrees Fahrenheit, a lock-in housing stand for faster heat-up and convenient storage, and a "Ryton" plastic grip encasing which resists high-heat for both safety and convenience during use.
