The plates are floated, increasing the controlled slip while reducing the tension, snags or pulls that can happen. It has a temperature range from 170 degrees fahrenheit all the way up to 380 degrees fahrenheit. It can reach any of these temperatures within five seconds of being turned on. The temperature is digitally controlled with an easy to read LCD screen. The HAI Elite Digistick comes with a 9' cord with a 360 degree swivel for easy use.
