Oral-B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000

The ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 model is a high-end electric tooth-brush designed to encompass the style and function of Oral-B's SmartSeries brushing products. The 5000 model takes a step up from the 4000 model improving on the features by offering more cleaning modes and options.

The SmartSeries 5000 model features 5 separate brushing modes which include "Daily Clean", "Sensitive Clean", "Whitening", "Massage", and "Deep Clean". The 5000 model also comes bundled with a two minute total timer that operates in 30 second intervals and includes a quadrant guide to show which sides of the mouth need brushing.

The SmartSeries 5000 includes several safety features to protect the users teeth as well as clean them; such as a unique pressure sensor which terminates the devices "pulsation" function when a user is pressing the brush too hard against their teeth. The Oral-B SmartSeries 5000 model also provides what Oral-B claims to be "40,000 pulsations and 8,800 oscillations per minute" during cleaning mode. Oral-B claims the 5000 model electric brush "whitens teeth in 3 weeks", "improves overall gum health" and "removes up to 99.7% plaque from teeth".  The SmartSeries 5000 model also includes additional features such as a replace brush alert, indicator bristle colors to remind users to change the brush when colors have faded, multiple brush attachments (see below), and a unique travel case for the brush. The 5000 model tooth-brush is bundled with a base charging station and the needed battery and power pack. Oral-B sells the ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 model brush with a limited 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
