The EP30005 unit is designed to allow the user to sit deeper in the chair than most models and Panasonic claims the Real Pro Ultra model will "deliver a deeper fuller massage" when compared to other competitors. This chair is the first of its kind to adjust for depth and intensity together; whereas most chairs adjust for intensity, but not depth. With the EP30005 users decide how far they need the rollers to extend out from the chair adding to the personalization of the unit.
The EP30005 has 1,117 unique massage modes that can all be activated via voice recognition. The chair features a Panasonic exclusive Junetsu massage mode which simulates the one-second circular motions of the thumb. As with most similar model massage chairs the unit is also programmed with Shiatsu and Swedish massage modes. The air bags conform to the users' body and the ottoman has adjustable and removable plates that stimulate additional massage points in the feet.
