The pivoting action shaving head rock up and down, and side to side adjusting to the contours of your face. The three shave heads float independantly and have inner blades at a 30 degree angle to give a close shave. The pop-up trimmer allows trimming and contouring of beards, moustaches and side-burns. To clean the shaver, simply run under water and place in the HydraClean hygienic cleaning system, which cleans and dries the shaving head. The cleaning system uses a long lasting cleaning cartridge to keep the blades fresh and ready to go. The battery can be fully charged with the induction charger in one hour giving approximately 14 shaves, or can be charged for one quick shave using the five minute quick charge. The 3 stage LED battery indicator shows how much battery life is remaining. This is nearly the same as the ES7109S, which has a 6 stage LED light battery indicator and slightly different look. Unlike the rest of the Vortex series, these two models do not use Panasonics patented high speed linear motor, which operates at 13,000 RPM.
