The Withings WiFi Body Scale is a wireless fitness scale that automatically transmits all a user’s fitness specifications directly online, at which point it can be reviewed either through a PC or via Withing’s free WiScale iPhone application.

It connects to a PC or Mac via a USB cable, after-which the bundled software pairs it with the user’s Wi-Fi network. After that, users can log into the company’s official website, set up their profiles (up to 8 people), and then get to weighing themselves. Signature to the WiFi Body Scale is its Twitter integration, which allows users to have the device automatically submit their weight, body fat, and BMI to Twitter either daily, weekly, monthly, or every time they weigh themselves.

    scale 2.0 - completely redundant and silly, it isn't that hard to record and monitor your weight and BMI without WiFi, a web app, your iPhone
